Pollyanna Wilkinson
An Outdoor Kitchen for the celebrated designer's own garden
Designed for celebrated garden designer Pollyanna Wilkinson, this bespoke outdoor kitchen was created to sit seamlessly within her own garden, where architecture, planting and materials work together as a carefully composed whole. Positioned beside the terrace, the kitchen acts as a natural extension of the outdoor living space, providing a place for cooking, gathering and entertaining without competing with the surrounding landscape.
Handcrafted in Huckleberry’s signature Classic style, the kitchen is built from solid oak using traditional joinery techniques that celebrate the beauty and integrity of natural materials. Its restrained detailing allows the warmth of the timber to complement the rich textures and planting of the garden, creating a piece that feels established rather than introduced.
The brief was centred on quality, longevity and simplicity. Equipped with a Gozney pizza oven and a Big Green Egg, the kitchen offers a versatile cooking space while maintaining a calm, architectural presence. Every proportion and material was carefully considered so that the furniture would sit comfortably within the wider garden design, becoming part of the landscape rather than simply occupying it.
As with every Huckleberry kitchen, durability was fundamental to the design. Solid oak, precision joinery and carefully selected fittings ensure the kitchen will weather beautifully, developing character over time while remaining functional through years of outdoor use.
The result is an outdoor kitchen that reflects the same principles that define Pollyanna Wilkinson’s gardens: timeless design, honest materials and a deep understanding of how people inhabit and enjoy outdoor spaces.
